The History Of DropshippingThe entire concept of dropshipping was actually created in the 1950’s. But the word “dropship or dropshipping” is relatively newer.

Dropshipping has simple roots though. It comprises of a warehousing distributor or wholesale manufacturer who is willing to ship individual orders directly to the consumer. The role of the dropshipper is to be the marketer and make sales.

Drop shipping has therefore been intended as a cost cutting fulfillment process that requires no stocking by the resellers aka dropshippers, who in turn can promote the manufacturer’s products in greater numbers because of the reduced set up costs. It can also be an ideal business model for those that don’t want to create their own products and would rather focus on marketing to new audiences or their own audience.

Lets go back. Way back!
It all began with mail order in the 1950’s. Mail order companies were born and their business consisted of mailing catalogs to every corner of the country and receiving orders and payments by mail. Then those orders would be either fulfilled in-house, or outsourced to a warehousing and distribution company, who would pick, pack and ship the goods – the drop shipper. Many door to door salesmen also used drop shipping manufacturers and distributors to fulfill customer orders.

The next major introduction of drop shipping into the supply chain as a fulfillment method came with the computer revolution. Manufacturing was the first to be impacted by the advent of computers, leading to the Japanese manufacturing revolution or Just In Time (JIT) production. Manufacturers would receive orders directly from retailers on the basis of how low those retailers were running on stock and inventories. This innovation didn’t just improve the logistics of the manufacturers and retailers, it also allowed retailers to accept pre-orders and payments from consumers, and then pass the order directly to the manufacturer for just in time production (one example is furniture stores). The manufacturer would then begin production and deliver the product to the retailer or directly to the consumer a few days or weeks later.

Then came the Internet, which essentially took over mail order, but also over many retailers. Amazon was the first to drop ship on the web effectively, using Seattle based book distributors who were willing to drop ship for the company. Amazon used drop shipping so successfully that it grew into the world’s largest retailer. Today Amazon has its own warehousing facilities, but still utilizes drop shipping for many of it’s products and even has dropshippers on their platform.

Drop shipping is essentially a cost cutting fulfillment solution, provided of course your drop shipper is selling at manufacturer or distributor prices.

Often Internet start ups confuse the advantages of drop shipping with the idea that any company that offers a drop shipping service will be good for them. If one of your competitors offered you to drop ship their goods at the SRP or just below the SRP, would you use them?

I hope your answer is NO.
For drop shipping to work, it’s still true that you have to be good at marketing (whether you become one or you already have experience) However today, due mainly to the Internet and the ease with which prices can be compared, you must also truly know how to brand your company to stand out from your competitors. Get creative like you were as a kid.

I am just so grateful that you are reading my story!
I know it connects with you in some form or the other. When you come from derailed mindset like me things aren't that simple … You have to earn every dollar believe on your dreams more than anything. As Entrepreneurship you have to ready to accept failures again, again and eventually grow from your failures.. You have to listen from existing successful business and grow from there experience. Start loving taking risk and that keep opening avenues of opportunity to thrive .

From My experience with this over 3 years now and If You Want To Replicate The Same All You Need If this strategies that serve me all the time that i learned from mentor , immense testing and basically doing it .

But Before I share with you my step blueprint that helps me really living me 200% . This is very popular quote i have followed:

      “ Winner Never Complains But Creates“ Yes You Have to Be Problem Solver All The Time —"Entrepreneurship is living your life a few years like most people won't, so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can't."

So basically i started my online business on small tablet computer and little sister helped for recharging the internet . Basically people ask me you must be genius at programming , coding etc.
I just laugh and say i am more dumbass than you can ever imagine … I failed in Btech classes and my peers started keeping distance of me . Obviously that felt sad for sure , my parents , my very close friend started ignoring me while inside every day i was crying and trying to figure things out.

I started meditating all the time as much as i could in darkness to release those negative karmic impression i had been feeling every moment and slowly slowly not through books but through experiences i had in while purely diving in started discovering better and better version of myself .
I had zero money even then still whenever i chatted with my friend i used to tell them i will be making 5k a month just a need a very small investment which no one is supporting me . So i i started selling my blood to get some cash to test market and start my online business but again was left with fail and despair .. But i was not that sad as i was always used to failures … but as
my friends know i never back down … there is never give up option as i was very passionate.

This time my friend Vivek helped me with 50$ and he told me “ Pratyush I have faith in you”
Started back on drawing board 16 hours a day looking from scraps of information online how to make this thing work so i can just make 200$ a month and return vivek’s money .

So i started with CPA offer again on forex market within first 4-5 days made 423$ and showed that to my dad who was always negative and saw what i have trying to do is impossible as none he knows does this kind of thing from home . So he said these are just numbers displayed on the computer not real cash. I was anxious again till i received it in my account on 23 April 2013 … I paid back my only true friend at that time more than double of 50$ .. And then same year i crossed 10000$ . Kept growing till i hit 100k in february 2015 . And scaled it like anything .




These are 4 step blueprint i followed to grow and keep growing my company and pushing limit everyday.

1.Having More Control & Margins : Promoting offer with higher payout and that happens when your own products, or higher ticket affiliate offer , CPA so you can read more stats and how all pages are performing and optimise from it .

2. Believing In Your Products : If you not gone believe that your product is the best and can really add smiles to people lives how you can convince customer to believe in it

3. Having Best Funnel In The Planet : Get a marketing expert because if there is some incongruence with your marketing message, website, offer … Your sales will always be sabotaged
4. Traffic : Mastering traffic and being best analyst is key .. If you suck at this you cannot bring sales even if you have world best product in the planet . Get a mentor and learn this shit else you are always facing issues .


So as said keep learning and keep growing to being your best .
